Data residency
Signup shows only regions that are currently enabled by the published commercial and placement configuration. The tenant database is bound to the selected region.
Available regions
The portal collects a region only when the live signup catalogue marks it available. Availability requires the commercial price book and an enabled provisioning placement; unavailable regions remain visible only as publication-gated choices.

Database-per-customer isolation
Customer records are held in a dedicated tenant database rather than as rows in one shared customer table. Routing resolves the host to one tenant and does not fall back to a default tenant.
Backups and restoration
Backups follow the selected region. A restored database is reconciled against the current commercial projection so stale entitlement state is repaired by design.
